I found myself working in this repo and distribits reminders in parallel, and thus started to quickly draft a news item on distribits support. I was aware that @j.goddard wanted to do that, but I felt I could make a start - please feel free to take over or even close. (not my intention to take the task away or imply time pressure)

Thanks for starting this, @adina! I added some suggested text (feel free to edit further) for linking it a little bit more to the ABCD-J's initiatives, and added some links to DataLad and the data management topic on the website.
