disable cloning code repo from trr, premptively fix up path
...
The comment lays out the reasoning for disabling the step.
The removal of path: code is to prevent future cloning errors,
as this repository already has a code directory.
later, we also need to remove the line that uses the now non-existent
output path from this step.
