This PR primarily defines the acronyms, DFG and CRC, across glossary terms to ensure they can be understood when read on their own (i.e., ensuring it is not necessary to include another glossary term in order for any other glossary term to be understood). In addition, there are a couple of super minor grammatical fixes.
