Forscher von ABCD-J trugen auf der diesjährigen Jahrestagung der [Organization for Human Brain Mapping](https://www.humanbrainmapping.org/) (OHBM) in Bordeaux, Frankreich, zu einem Messestand, einem preisgekrönten Poster und dem „BrainHack“ bei.
Die OHBM-Jahrestagung ist eine der größten internationalen Konferenzen im Bereich der Neurobildgebung.
Während der gesamten Konferenz begrüßten Mitglieder des Konsortiums Besucher am ABCD-J-Messestand, wo sie die ABCD-J-Plattform und ihr wachsendes Ökosystem aus interoperablen Open-Source-Tools vorstellten und hervorhoben, wie diese Software reproduzierbare Neurobildgebungsforschung unterstützen kann.

Darüber hinaus präsentierten [Michael Hanke]({{< relref path="../../contributors/michael-hanke" lang="de" >}}) et al. ein Poster, das veranschaulicht, wie sich der interoperable Software-Toolstack von ABCD-J zu relevanten Workflows für Laborgruppen im Bereich der computergestützten Neurowissenschaften kombinieren lässt.
So hebt das Poster hervor, wie [`shacl-vue`]({{< relref path="../../software/shacl-vue" lang="de" >}}) und [Dump Things Service]({{< relref path="../../software/dump-things" lang="de" >}}) Arbeitsabläufe zur automatischen Erstellung von Labor-Websites aus strukturierten Metadaten unterstützen.
Wir sind besonders stolz darauf, mitteilen zu können, dass das Poster mit dem OHBM People’s Choice Award ausgezeichnet wurde und von den OHBM-Teilnehmern die meisten Stimmen für die beste Posterpräsentation erhielt!

Im Vorfeld der Hauptkonferenz nahmen mehrere ABCD-J-Mitglieder am [Brainhack Bordeaux](https://ohbm.github.io/hackathon2026/) teil, einem begleitenden kollaborativen Hackathon im Rahmen der OHBM.
Das Team arbeitete an der Weiterentwicklung von Technologien für das Metadatenmanagement und die Forschungsinfrastruktur und untersuchte, wie strukturierte Metadaten nahtlos zwischen Softwarekomponenten fließen können, um die Zusammenarbeit und verschiedene nachgelagerte Anwendungen (z. B. Projektwebsites und Datenkataloge) zu unterstützen.

Zusammen zeigen diese Aktivitäten die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von ABCD-J von einer Sammlung von Softwareprojekten hin zu einem integrierten Ökosystem, das offene, FAIR-konforme und kollaborative Gesundheitsforschung unterstützt.

ABCD-J researchers contributed to an exhibition booth, award-winning poster and "BrainHack" during this year's [Organization for Human Brain Mapping](https://www.humanbrainmapping.org/) (OHBM) Annual Meeting in Bordeaux, France.
The OHBM Annual Meeting is one of the largest international conferences in neuroimaging.
Throughout the conference, members of the consortium welcomed visitors to the ABCD-J exhibition booth, where they introduced the ABCD-J platform and its growing ecosystem of interoperable, open-source tools, highlighting how these software can support reproducible neuroimaging research.

Additionally, [Michael Hanke]({{< relref path="../../contributors/michael-hanke" lang="en" >}}) et al. presented a poster illustrating how ABCD-J's interoperable software toolstack can be combined into relevant workflows for computational neuroscience lab groups.
For example, the poster highlights how [`shacl-vue`]({{< relref path="../../software/shacl-vue" lang="en" >}}) and [Dump Things Service]({{< relref path="../../software/dump-things" lang="en" >}}) support workflows for automatically generating lab websites from structured metadata.
We are particularly proud to share that the poster was awarded OHBM's People's Choice Award, receiving the most votes from OHBM attendees for the best poster presentation!

Prior to the main conference, several ABCD-J members participated in [Brainhack Bordeaux](https://ohbm.github.io/hackathon2026/), a collaborative hackathon accompanying OHBM.
The team worked on further developing technologies for metadata management and research infrastructure, exploring how structured metadata can flow seamlessly between software components to support collaboration and various downstream applications (e.g., project websites and data catalogs).

Together, these activities demonstrate the continued evolution of ABCD-J from a collection of software projects into an integrated ecosystem supporting open, FAIR and collaborative health research.
