[Distribits 2025](https://distribits.live), eine Konferenz mit zusätzlichem Hackathon im Themenbereich verteilter Datenmanagement-Technologien, findet vom 23-25 Oktober in Düsseldorf statt.
Es handelt sich um ein Treffen genau der Community, die den [verteilten Datenmanagementansatz]({{< relref path="/topics/datamanagement/" lang="de" >}}) vorantreibt, auf dem das ABCD-J-Projekt basiert.
Auf der diesjährigen Veranstaltung werden Vorträge über die Entwicklung und Anwendung von [DataLad]({{< relref path="/software/datalad/" lang="de" >}}), [git-annex](https://git-annex.branchable.com/git-annex/) und anderen Tools für verteilte Daten gehalten, die zeigen, wie diese FAIR-Computing-Workflows ermöglichen.
Für ABCD-J sind diese Tools mehr als nur Software.
Sie ermöglichen reproduzierbare Datensätze und einen sicheren Datenaustausch zwischen Partnern in klinischen Forschungsnetzwerken.
ABCD-J freut sich, Distribits 2025 zu unterstützen, und wir sind gespannt auf interessante Vorträge, anregende Diskussionen und neue Kontakte in Düsseldorf!

The 2025 [Distribits conference and hackathon](https://distribits.live) on distributed data management technologies takes place October 23-25th in Düsseldorf, Germany.
It is a meeting of the community that fuels the [distributed data approach the ABCD-J project is built on]({{< relref path="/topics/datamanagement/" lang="en" >}}).
This year's event will feature talks on the development and application of [DataLad]({{< relref path="/software/datalad/" lang="en" >}}), [git-annex](https://git-annex.branchable.com/git-annex/), and other distributed data tools, showcasing how they can enable FAIR computational workflows.
For ABCD-J, these tools are more than just software; they are what enable reproducible datasets and secure data sharing between partners in clinical research networks.
ABCD-J is happy to support the 2025 Distribits meeting, and we're looking forward to insightful talks, discussions, and new connections in Düsseldorf.
