This walk-through only contains a short preamble and links to https://blog.datalad.org/posts/annex-nextcloud/ for details. This partially overlaps with the WebDAV walkthrough, which could get rewritten or even deprecated. However, the old WebDAV walkthrough contains valuable information: it discusses e.g. filetree (export) mode. It would make most sense to change the WebDAV walkthrough to use git-remote-annex (but keeping the copy vs export comparison). This can be done at a later point (although not too late, because DataLad's functionality is slotted for removal: https://github.com/datalad/datalad-next/issues/785#issuecomment-3106625346). |
