<p>The event will take place on the

university campus</a> in Magdeburg. We have multiple hack rooms with solid
|

wireless and wired network access.</p>

<em>you</em> need to crank out all that scientific output goodness.</p>

<h2>Schedule</h2>
|
|
<p>The event will start Thursday afternoon with introductions and a
|
|
get-together. All day Friday and Saturday are dedicated to hacking on
|
|
projects, with tutorials and break-out/unconference sessions happening as
|
|
needed. Early-evening on Saturday, there will be a wrap-up session with a
|
|
short presentation from each project on their achievements.</p>
|
|
|
|
<p>Due to the nature of the event, the schedule is flexible and can change
|
|
frequently. To stay up-to-date, you can subscribe to a
|
|
<a href="https://tinyurl.com/ybx23trf">Google calendar</a>.</p>
|
|
|
|
<p>Alternatively, you can use the free and open source
|
|

<p>Attendees will organize their accommodations individually. Magdeburg
|
|

<h2>Transportation</h2>
|
|
<p>While Magdeburg does have an airport, most people will want to fly into
|
|
either <a href="https://www.leipzig-halle-airport.de/">Leipzig (LEJ)</a>
|
|
or <a href="http://www.berlin-airport.de">Berlin (BER)</a>. From there,
|
|
direct trains are available to Magdeburg, and take between 1.5 hours
|
|
(LEJ) and 2 hours (BER).</p>
|
|
|
|
<p>Otherwise, Magdeburg is easy reach from all directions — by
|
|
<a href="https://www.bahn.de">train</a> or by
|
|
<a href="https://www.google.de/maps/dir//Otto-von-Guericke-Universit%C3%A4t+Magdeburg,+Universit%C3%A4tsplatz,+Magdeburg/@52.1401845,11.6418375,17z/data=!4m8!4m7!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x47af5f4e8655c243:0x2aa651e3d67867a6!2m2!1d11.6441991!2d52.1402053">car</a>

<p>On Thursday, the event will take place at the
|
|
<a href="http://www.lin-magdeburg.de">Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology</a>
|
|
on the <a href="https://www.med.uni-magdeburg.de/Campusplan.html">Medical Campus</a>.
|
|
You can reach the Medical Campus from the main train station or the city
|
|
center using the tram lines 6 and 9. The stop name is Universitätsklinikum.</p>
|
|
|
|
<p>On Friday and Saturday, we will be at the
|
|
<a href="https://www.uni-magdeburg.de/Universit%C3%A4t/Im+Portrait/Adresse+_+Anreise/Campus+Universit%C3%A4tsplatz.html">
|
|
Main Campus</a>. The main venue and all accommodation options mentioned
|
|
above are within walking distance. If you want to get around the city,
|
|
trams and buses <a href="http://www.mvbnet.de/">run regularly</a> around the city.</p>
