The arbitrary nature of disconnected decisions being made throughout the history of supposedly related config options has led to us now "sitting with the baked pears", as the Dutch saying goes. Some config options use URI format to reference classes/slots, others use CURIEs. This is not consistent and not interchangeable. This should change.
